Estimated discard and catch of groundfish species in the 2024 U.S. West Coast fisheries

  The primary objectives of this report are to: 1) update estimated fishing mortality of groundfish species in U.S. West Coast fisheries in 2002 to 2023, 2) provide mortality estimates for 2024, and 3) compare the 2024 estimates to annual catch limits (ACLs). These management specifications are published in the federal groundfish regulations for selected groundfish species (USOFR 2001, 2015).
