Description:This document describes the variability of nearshore biomass of northern anchovy computed from seasonal, transect-based, aerial surveys conducted from 2020 to 2024 off California and compares these estimates to offshore and nearshore acoustic survey biomass in seasons where all surveys occurred synoptically (i.e., usually within one week and the same latitudinal area).
