  From September 19 - October 3, 2025 from Guam to Koror, Palau, NOAA Ocean Exploration conducted the Beyond the Blue: Palau Mapping 3 expedition (EX2507), a mapping and eDNA collection expedition with opportunistic marine mammal observations to the West Pacific. EX2507 mapped 28,060 sq. km of seafloor (2,325 in the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone).
