NOAA Fisheries conducted a nationwide survey of marine recreational anglers from 2016-2017 for the purposes of estimating expenditures related to marine recreational fishing trips. In this report, average trip expenditures are reported for each coastal state. The survey was conducted using in-person interviews, mail, or a mixed web/mail mode.
