Description:

WSFO, Washington, DC, is continuing their LFM forecast verification project. Preliminary results, which were presented as Technical Attachment No. 72-2-28 with the Staff Notes of February 28, 1972, were for the months of November, December, and January, and they were for five locations (Dulles, Pittsburgh, New York City, Wallops Island, and Greensboro). Results for February show the same bias or characteristics that were apparent for the three prior months.
