Description:The Corps proposes to permit a multifaceted improvement to the 128th St. E./McCutcheon Rd. E. bridge over the Puyallup River, in Pierce County, WA, at 47.140447°N, 122.225709°W. The action can be broken down into three parts: 1) expansion of the bridge and potential in-water work; 2) removal of homes along the east bank and subsequent grading of the floodplain; and 3) redesign of McCutcheon Rd. E., creation of the flood conveyance channel, and redirection of floodwaters.
