Description:A pilot study was carried out to answer two questions: 1. How consistent are the MOS PoP forecasts from one model run to the next, when they verify for the same 12-hour period? 2. Can a current 1st period MOS PoP be improved by considering the 2nd period MOS PoP issued 12 hours earlier from a different model run, and verifying for the same period as the current 1st period MOS POP?
