Description:A momentous event in applied meteorology took place with little fanfare during the week of October 6th. Computer-worded forecasts (experimental) became available on the KCRT circuit for 20 U. S. cities. The system was deve loped by Dr. H. R. Glahn, Acting Director, Techniques Development Laboratory. Words and phrases are supplied by the computer program that verbalizes the numbers of the MOS objective guidance products.
