Description:The ability of the National Weather Service to forecast hazardous or significant weather events is frequently questioned. This study continues the investigation previously reported in Technical Attachments No. 75-1-6 (6 January 1975) and No. 76-13B (7 June 1976). It deals with the question for one type of event, heavy snow (> 6 inches).
