The attached exercise was provided by Fred Ostby of NSSFC who had given it to his personnel. We thought it would be useful for a T.A., since the number and variety of weather elements have increased in recent months. The pertinent Technical Procedures Bulletins are 227, 233, 234, 238, 243, 244, 246 and 247. Answers to the questions in the exercise may be found on the last page of this T.A.
