Description:On the morning of February 2, 1983, a major storm was located in extreme western Indiana which moved slowly northward to the southern end of Lake Michigan by evening. A series of mesoanalyses was done for the eastern region portion of the storm, while it was in progress. In particular we wished to determine in real time the important meteorological factors associated with the heavier precipitation areas.
