Description:

The Eastern Region (ER) area during the week of June 13-17 was generally under the influence of high pressure both surface and aloft. Synoptic scale dynami cs were minimal during this period and provided an opportunity for the study of "air mass" type thunderstorms using mesoscale techniques.
