Description:In this weather event, Doppler radar winds provided a frequent upper-wind profile that filled the gap between 12-hourly RAOBs. Although surface winds were also backing prior to the changeover to snow, knowledge of the change in the upper-level winds provided evidence that this was not just a local aberration in the wind field.
