Description:During the period September 14-16, 1985 a late summer/early fall phenomena brought unexpected cloudiness and rain to the lower Great Lakes Region while the area was under the influence of a large, strong high pressure center. The cloudiness and rain developed over Lakes Erie and Ontario then moved onshore during the morning hours each day. The phenomena was localized, and mainly affected the nearshore waters of the lakes and the immediate shoreline.
