Description:A surface cold front supported only by a wind shift passed thru ILG between 08 and 09Z 6/29/88 (See Figure 1). The 00Z FPCILG predicted a post frontal max of 76 (Figure 2). The actual high temperature was 84, reached shortly after 18z. The 5am forecasts were in agreement with the FPC temperatures and NMC frontal analysis (Figure 3). But, because of MESOS, we were able to adjust the forecast highs upward at the 10 am update.
