Description:On January 23 and 24, 2001, the National Dredging Team (NDT) sponsored a workshop in Jacksonville, Florida, to develop a national action agenda with specific recommendations on issues facing dredging and sediment management over the coming decade (Table ES-1). The workshop was organized around the following themes: beneficial use of dredged material; sediment management; emerging issues; and strengthening Regional Dredging Teams. Actions proposed at the workshop were consolidated by the members of the NDT into general and specific recommendations for each subject area.
