Scientists from the Alaska Fisheries Science Center conducted acoustic-trawl surveys in the Gulf of Alaska during late winter 2023 to estimate the distribution and abundance of walleye pollock (Gadus chalcogrammus; hereafter pollock) at several of their main spawning grounds.
