  Dear colleagues, on behalf of the editorial board and editorial staff of AGU's Earth and Space Science journal, I express our appreciation for your role as a reviewer in 2020. As an interdisciplinary journal, ESS aims to publish papers presenting and interpreting key data sets and observations that are critical, singularly or in aggregate, for a broader scientific understanding of Earth and its environment, as well as our solar system and beyond, or papers that add to the understanding of such observations (e.g., methodology, algorithms, theory, mapping, modeling, evaluation and intercomparison studies). In particular, ESS seeks papers that highlight methods, instruments, sensors, data and algorithms that contribute to the Earth and Space sciences with an eye toward usefulness of publications over traditional metrics. Your reviews are essential to the quality and timely appearance of publications.
