Description:The federal government currently hopes to establish offshore wind infrastructure which produces 30 gigawatts of energy by the year 20301 , and the large scale and short timeline of this goal has caused concern around the role of tribal participation and preservation of cultural and environmental resources.2 A question is raised about how tribes can be included in the leasing process for offshore wind energy development.
