Description:Silvergray rockfish (Sebastes brevispinis) inhabit oceanic waters in Alaska along the shelf and continental slope and is one of the most common rockfish species caught in research bottom trawl surveys off southeastern Alaska. Silvergray rockfish is federally managed within a rockfish multispecies complex in the Gulf of Alaska (GOA).
