Description:Dale ralph Calder (Figures 1, 2) was born on April 16, 1941, in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada, to Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Calder. He grew up on Deer Island in the Bay of Fundy. His formative education was undertaken at the United Baptist Bible training School in Moncton, New Brunswick, culminating in his graduation in June 1960 (Calder 1966).
