Description:The size, duration, impact, and cost of wildland fire is increasing over the last several decades. A recent Interagency Council for Advancing Meteorological Services (ICAMS)-sponsored workshop focused on the scientific questions and challenges associated with subseasonal-to-seasonal wildfire outlooks. Opinions from this workshop, including recommended cross-agency motivation and activities, are provided.
