Description:This study has revealed significant and until now, unobserved variations in seafloor carbonate chemistry at fine spatial and temporal scales along with physical parameters across regions inhabited by deep coral mounds. This final report presents a compilation of in-situ carbonate chemistry and benthic community observations during five ROV dives along with in-situ benthic lander deployments, highlighting the potential for rapid changes in environmental conditions experienced by deep coral communities.
