Description:Between 18 March and 4 April 2023, the Collaborative Pot Sampling (CPS1) project occurred to collect data on Bristol Bay red king crab (RKC) (Paralithodes camtschaticus). The project spanned 637 regularly spaced stations placed along 11 transects in Bristol Bay, Alaska. RKC were fished using modified commercial crab pots (traps) in order to understand early spring distribution patterns, as well as to collect a suite of biological attributes.
