Description:During 1976, the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), under contract to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, continued to evaluate the following: (1) fish protective facilities for juvenile salmonids at Lower Granite and Little Goose Dams, (2) a mass transportation system for increasing survival of downstream migrant salmonids, and (3) dissolved gas abatement procedures in the Columbia and Snake Rivers.
