For the annual cross-expedition details, see the “NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer FY23 Field Season Instructions.” This expedition will commence on August 23, 2023, in Kodiak, Alaska, and conclude on September 16, 2023, in Seward, Alaska. Operations will be conducted 24 hours a day, and consist of remotely operated vehicle (ROV) dives, mapping operations, and full shore-based participation via telepresence.
