Description:The Registry of Marine Pathology is designed to offer the growing community of marine and estuarine biologists and pathologists a counterpart to some of the reference services so abundantly available to their landlocked colleagues. The Registry solicits, catalogues, and maintains accessions representative of pathology and abnormality in marine and estuarine biota. However, it is not the function of ROMP to serve as a museum of commensals unrelated to pathology. Accessions are solicited in the following order of preference: 1) slides, photographs, and publications; 2) tissue blocks; J fixed tissues.
