Description:"A pilot study to evaluate the feasibility of obtaining recreational fishing data under contract with charterboat captains was conducted by personnel of the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Southeast Fisheries Center, Panama City Laboratory, during 1982. Captains who conducted chartered fishing trips off the southeastern United States coast were contracted to provide daily records of their catch and effort to us. The purpose of this report Is to make available the detailed data provided by each of the survey participants"--Introduction.
