Description:The vertical temperature and moisture structure of the atmosphere, as obtained from the radiosonde observation (RAOB), is an important consideration for short-range forecasts of precipitation type. This computer program automatically analyzes a RAOB and computes a number of variables which have been found to be important in discriminating between liquid, freezing, and frozen precipitation (Bocchieri, 1980; see Appendix).
