Description:The purpose of the NOAA Fisheries Information Systems (FIS) funded workshops was to educate stakeholders regarding the current state of on-demand fishing technology, geolocation solutions for cloud interoperability and associated cloud databases, and to gain insight into what data fields should be collected to replace the function of a traditional buoy, including both required and optional data fields.
