Description:Inthisarticle,liquidwatercloudmicrophysicalpropertiesareretrievedbyacombination of microwave and infrared ground-based observations. Clouds containing liquid water are frequently occurringinmostclimateregimesandplayasignifican troleintermsofinteractionwithradiation.Small perturbationsintheamountofliquidwatercontainedin thecloudcancauselargevariationsintheradiative fluxes.Thiseffectisenhancedforthinclouds(liquidwaterpath,LWP <100g/m2),whichmakesaccurate retrieval information of the cloud properties crucial.
