Clouds containing liquid water are frequently occurringinmostclimateregimesandplayasignifican troleintermsofinteractionwithradiation.Small perturbationsintheamountofliquidwatercontainedin thecloudcancauselargevariationsintheradiative fluxes.Thiseffectisenhancedforthinclouds(liquidwaterpath,LWP <100g/m2),whichmakesaccurate retrieval information of the cloud properties crucial.
