Description:"Summary statistics of American Samoa longline catch and effort for the second quarter of 2010, based on date of haul, are shown in Table 1. The table is derived from all federal logbook data submitted by American Samoa-based longline vessels as of August 3, 2010. The table entries reflect 100% of the monitored trip effort for both large and small longline vessels. Compared to the second quarter of 2009, the number of active vessels in the second quarter of 2010 decreased by 4%, from 25 vessels to 24"--Page [1].
