Description:On April 14, 2022, the University of Minnesota Sea Grant College Program (MNSG) hosted a one-day, virtual workshop to generate ideas and partnerships to support targeted, impactful research funding for the St. Louis River Estuary (SLRE) and expand the body of knowledge available for natural resource planning and regulatory decisions. The workshop was composed of keynote presentations (Appendix 1) and breakout sessions where thirty-one participants from state and tribal natural resource management agencies, research organizations, non-governmental organizations, economic development agencies, and transportation agencies and others (Appendix 2), contributed to focused discussions on the three major objectives described below.
