Description:Since 2020, the NOAA Central Library has reported to the NOAA Science Council on the status and progress of the NOAA Institutional Repository (IR). This report has served as a way for NOAA leadership to monitor the agency’s response to the 2013 White House Office of Science and Technology Policy’s memorandum on public access. Since its launch in 2017, the NOAA IR has grown to house over 42,599 unique items across 18 collections, increasing PARR compliance to 39.7% in FY2022. The IR had 836,918 pageviews last year.
