Description:This document reviews the efforts of staff from the Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC) and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) to classify all managed North Pacific Fishery Management Council (NPFMC) stocks using the NGSAIP stock assessment data classification system. Current and target levels for the five data attributes are provided for a total of 69 groundfish, crab, salmon, and scallop stocks from the Gulf of Alaska (GOA), Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands (BSAI), Eastern Bering Sea (EBS), and the Arctic fishery management areas. Results for the gap analysis are summarized by data attribute over all stocks combined, by Fishery Management Plan (FMP), and by stock groupings.
