Description:This document is a guide for how to use and apply the Low-Frequency Detection and Classification System (LFDCS) built by Dr. Mark Baumgartner at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). The LFDCS is a software system created for automated detection and classification of low-frequency baleen whale vocalizations in archival and real-time acoustic data (Baumgartner and Mussoline 2011).
