Description:The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) proposes to issue an Incidental Harassment Authorization (IHA) to the Office of Naval Research (ONR) for the incidental taking of of marine mammals. The IHA would be valid for one year from the date of issuance and would authorize the take, by Level B harassment, of marine mammals incidental to acoustic technology experiments in one of nine provinces comprising the western North Pacific Ocean.
