Description:In operation since 1990, the Great Bay Coast Watch is a volunteer water monitoring organization. This report covers its activities during 2001. Those activities include measuring water temperature, pH, salinity, dissolved oxygen, transparency, depth, and fecal coliform bacteria at 21 sites around New Hampshire's Great Bay Estuary as well as conducting phytoplankton surveys at six sites. Background information, site analyses, and future plans are also presented.
