Description:Dedicated to the development of fully autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), the MIT Sea Grant Underwater Vehicles Laboratory is the nation's leading developer of small, inexpensive, highly functional, unmanned underwater robots. This is a brief guide to the purpose, activities and organization of the Underwater Vehicles Laboratory, home of the AUV "Odyssey". The laboratory is a stimulating training ground for graduate and undergraduate students and visiting engineers and scientists from around the world.
