Description:

This report provides information on the knowledge and attitudes of the people of the State relative to planning for the resources of coastal areas. The overall conclusion which can be drawn from this study is that the people of Louisiana are relatively uninformed about the State's coastal zone. This should be of concern to legislators, agency administrators, public officials, and others having responsibility for development and management of the State's coastal resources.
