Description:The NOAA Ship CHAPMAN departed Pascagoula, Miss. on April 30, 1992 to conduct four days of neuston net evaluation and ten days of Nutrient Enhanced Coastal Ocean Productivity (NECOP) survey in the northern Gulf of Mexico. The primary and secondary objectives for the second leg were completed ahead of schedule; the cruise terminated in Pascagoula on May 13, instead of May 15, 1992.
