Description:During the 1964-1967 period, a series of dune-building experiments involving the use of sand fences and dune grasses was initiated. The initial results of these tests were reported in 1968 (Savage and Woodhouse, 1969). During the 6 years since that report, significant changes have occurred within these developing dunes. Their development has shed some light on factors affecting growth and utility of dunes in this region, and are the subject of this report.
