Description:

Through design, modeling, and testing it was determined that starting a kelp farming operation was an economically unstable undertaking. This cost analysis accounted for materials needed to build the farming structures, laboratory chemicals for germinating and growing live kelp plants, as well as other costs associated with running a business.
