Abstracts of all papers given at the conference are included in the proceedings, grouped into the following areas: biology, physiology, behavior, population dynamics; ecosystem effects, fishery impacts, nutrient/contaminant cycles, predator/prey interactions; mechanisms and rate of spread, range expansion, monitoring; biological control/mitigation, exploitation/beneficial uses; physical control/mitigation; and chemical control/mitigation. In addition, abstracts are given for the keynote presentations, case studies on zebra mussel control in public drinking water facilities, and the poster session.
