Description:This descriptive study assists researchers and community planners in attaining a better understanding of the newer and smaller nature-based tourism enterprises. It establishes an information base for developing future educational programs to aid tour operators in enhancing their businesses. Issues tour operators faced include properly managing and marketing their businesses, acquiring and providing accurate information, and reducing negative impacts on the environment and/or local people. Five actions are presented to ensure the sustainability of nature-based tourism business.
