Description:The purpose of this document, the UM/UNH Sea Grant Long Range Plan, is to articulate key marine/coastal issues where the academic talents and resources of any institutions of higher learning in Maine and New Hampshire may be focused through the Sea Grant College Program. The plan sets up a context for our involvement in these areas, helps guide academic interests and resource allocation, and, retroactively, provides a means for determining the extent of Sea Grant's contribution towards solving important marine problems facing the region and the nation.
