Description:

This study provides economic information about the production of shellfish in Georgia and the economic impacts of the shellfish harvesting and processing sectors on the state's economy. During September 1985, shellfish harvesters and processors were surveyed; data on production costs and returns were collected as well as on shellfish processing. Economic impacts on Georgia's economy were projected using previous marine input-output studies.
