Description:The papers reprinted and abstracted in this collection on the future of fisheries management were originally presented at a conference on the Great Lakes fisheries held January 14-16, 1981, at Madison, Wis. The meeting, organized and hosted by the University of Wisconsin Sea Grant Institute, was designed to bring together fishery biologists and resource managers from throughout the region to discuss the present and future status of Great Lakes fisheries.
