This teachers' guide was originally prepared to accompany the College of the Atlantic's `Whales-on-Wheels' traveling exhibition. However, the guide is self-contained and profusely illustrated. Major sections cover background information on whale taxonomy, biology, ecology and behavior; classroom activities; teacher resources (trips, museums, films and records); a bibliography; and handout materials.
