Description:Low marine-phase survival of many Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) populations is hindering productivity—and in some cases recovery—of the species, yet our understanding of the causal dynamics remainsincomplete. Pop-up satellite archival tags were used to track fish captured in waters off West Greenland from September-April of 2010, 2011, and 2012 to gain insights into conditions experienced during their second year at sea.
